Scott has more than 30 years of success as a top-level Executive, Operations & Project Leader for start-up & business growth plans, Performance Tracking, Transportation/Logistics Management, and Domestic/International Partnerships. 

Currently embarked on a capstone career in Emergency Management, he brings experience in both the public and private sectors. Recent experiences include public health services for COVID-19 and humanitarian response for vulnerable migrant populations.  

A retired Captain of the U.S. Navy, Scott is a combat veteran of Operations Desert Shield/Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. After active-duty service as a helicopter pilot in the Pacific Fleet, he commanded five Navy Reserve units and served as a Senior Staff Officer in Planning and Operations for multi-lateral Exercises with partner nations from around the world.

In his commercial career, Scott specialized in transportation management. As Vice President of Sales for two international aviation services companies, he employed aircraft for multiple applications in numerous regions of the world. Following in a family tradition, he joined the railroad industry and grew a transportation services company that operated two shortline freight railroads, a mechanical services company, and a track & railroad structures maintenance and construction company.
